Excel Work Sheet Cell Color Style

In Excel, the formula =MOD(ROW(),2)=0 is used in conditional formatting to apply color to alternate rows:

Explanation

The ROW function returns the row number of a cell, and the MOD function returns the remainder after dividing that number by 2. The formula is true for cells with even row numbers.

Follow the bellow steps:

Step:1

Go to Home > Conditional Formatting>New Rule>Use a formula to determine which cells to format

Copy the formula  =MOD(ROW(),2)=0

Step:2

*Click Format

Select the RGB Color (Red=236 Green=242 Blue=248)

To apply the formatting to the cells on your worksheet, click OK
