To lock a BitLocker drive using the command line, you can use the
Lock-BitLocker cmdlet in PowerShell:- Type
PS C:\> - Type
Lock-BitLocker -MountPoint "E:" -ForceDismount
The
Lock-BitLocker cmdlet prevents access to all encrypted data on a volume that uses BitLocker Drive Encryption. You can specify a volume to lock by drive letter, or you can specify a BitLocker volume object. - manage-bde -lock D: Locks data drive D
- manage-bde -status: Views the status of BitLocker on the drives in the computer
- manage-bde -unlock C: -recoverypassword <recovery key>: Unlocks a BitLocker-protected drive by using a recovery password or a recovery key
You can also use the Device Encryption feature to automatically enable BitLocker encryption for the Operating System drive and fixed drives.
Way 2: Lock a BitLocker drive from Command Prompt
Step 1: Type cmd in the search box next to the Start button. When the Command Prompt shortcut appears in the search results list, right-click it and select Run as administrator. Step 2: In the Command Prompt window, type manage-bde -lock E:, and then press Enter.
Or Step 3. Very easy way.......
Create a new notepad and type
manage-bde -lock E:
Choose Drive as your Drive name and save as .bat Then Run as Administrator.
